Pricing

Your first paper is free.

Send us a test your students have already written. We check it and put our marks beside yours, on your own handwriting, before any money is discussed.

That is deliberately the first step rather than a price list. Nobody can tell from a page on the internet whether this reads their students’ handwriting, and that is the only question worth answering first.

How much does it cost?

By the page we mark — not per student, not per seat, not per month of having an account open.

We charge that way because that is what the work is. A centre running a weekly test does far more checking than one running three a term, and should pay for the checking rather than for a headcount that has nothing to do with it.

There is no rate card on this page, deliberately. What a centre pays depends on how many pages it actually runs, and on how much it wants built around the checking — some want only the marking, others want it inside a system that also holds their attendance, fees and parent reports. Those are different numbers, and quoting one of them at a stranger helps nobody. Send a paper first. We will have marked it before either of us has talked about money.

What that means in practice

  • Monthly. Coaching has a season. A centre that stops running tests in December should not be paying for checking in December.
  • No setup fee. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure. You upload a question paper and start.
  • No lock-in. No annual contract, no minimum term.
  • You only pay for what is marked. A page we hand back as unreadable is not a page we charge for.

Working out your own volume

Whatever you end up paying is driven by one number, and you can work it out before you ever speak to us: students × pages each × tests a month.

A batch of forty sitting a ten-page test is four hundred pages. Run that test weekly and it is sixteen hundred pages a month. Two hundred students writing a full thirty-page paper is six thousand pages, and that is a different conversation worth having before you start: at that volume a sheet-feed scanner beats a phone camera, and we will say so rather than sell you something that will not work.

Work out your own figure and bring it — it is the number a quote is built on, and it is the one thing nobody can tell you from the outside.

Set those against what the marking costs now. Six thousand pages is somewhere near a hundred and fifty hours of a teacher’s Sundays, and the marking time calculator will do that sum on your own batch sizes without asking for a phone number.

What is included, whatever the volume

Questions about the money

Do you charge per student or per page?

Per page. A per-student or per-seat price charges a centre for students it is not testing, and charges the same whether you run one test a term or one a week. Pages are the work, so pages are the bill.

Is the first paper really free?

Yes, and it is a real test rather than a demo: your question paper, your students’ sheets, your marks to compare against. It is the only way to answer the question you are actually asking.

How do I pay?

We invoice you directly and you can pay by UPI or bank transfer. There is no card checkout here yet, which is deliberate — at this stage we would rather talk to every centre that signs up.

Why is there no price on this page?

Because the honest answer depends on two things we do not know yet: how many pages your centre actually runs in a month, and whether you want only the marking or a system built around it. A single number on a public page would be wrong for most of the people reading it. The first paper is free, so you can find out whether this works on your own handwriting before anyone quotes anything.

Is there a free trial of AI answer sheet checking?

The first paper is checked free, on your own question paper and your own students’ handwriting. It is a test rather than a trial: you already know what those answers are worth, so you can put our marks next to yours and see where they differ. That takes about fifteen minutes and needs nothing installed.

How does it compare with paying someone to evaluate answer sheets?

The comparison worth doing is not against a per-page rate but against the hours your faculty currently spend marking, and what those hours would otherwise be worth. The marking time calculator works that out from your own batch sizes, and no phone number is required to use it.

What about the rest of ClassPulse?

Checking is one part of a larger platform that also runs attendance, timetables, fees and parent updates, priced separately. If that is what you are looking for, start here and we will talk about your centre rather than your page count.

Try it on a paper you have already marked.

That is the honest test: our marks next to yours, on your students’ handwriting. It takes about fifteen minutes and costs nothing.
